No Time to Write? Try Micro-Fiction

November 27 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

As life’s responsibilities continue to overwhelm the writers who want to create and their audience of readers, new modes of creative writing are emerging. One such sub-genre is micro-fiction in which writers tell a story in 300 words or fewer.  Micro fiction is even shorter than flash or sudden fiction, and it is challenging; however, the possibilities for publication are greater than traditional fiction in that print media becomes increasingly expensive and is, thus, published more infrequently with fewer pages.

9 hours

Topics:

  • Writing micro fiction in business, sports, adventure, horror, literature mystery, and science fiction, gender and other sub-genres
  • Proofreading and editing micro fiction
  • Critiquing micro fiction
